President Erdogan arrived in the UNITED Arab Emirates for a two-day visit at the invitation of ABU Dhabi crown Prince Muhammed bin Zayed El Nahyan.This is Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s first visit to the UAE in about 10 years. He will discuss strengthening cooperation with the UAE in various fields including trade, energy and peace cooperation.President Erdogan was greeted at ABU Dhabi International Airport by UAE Minister Tani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyouidi, Turkish Ambassador to ABU Dhabi Tugai Tunigel and Dubai Consul General Khalid Keric.President Recep Tayyip Erdogan later moved to the residence of the UAE presidential palace and was formally greeted by uae Crown Prince Mohammed.The two leaders held bilateral talks after an official welcoming ceremony.During this period, bilateral agreements were signed after a meeting between President Erdogan and a delegation led by ABU Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed.The Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the United Arab Emirates signed 13 agreements in the fields of defence industry, health, climate change, industry, technology, culture, agriculture, trade, economy, land, shipping, youth, disasters, meteorology, communications and archives.President Erdogan is expected to discuss the development of bilateral relations and cooperation during his visit.In addition, regional and international situations are expected to be discussed on the basis of a sense of protecting and building peace and stability.During his visit, President Erdogan will also sign a series of agreements aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries.President Erdogan will also travel to Dubai on February 15 to attend the Dubai Expo 2020 and visit the Turkish exhibition hall.
